Every app company needs a web site. People will expect to be able to search for your business online, and they should be able to find you. If you’re just starting out then an inexpensive landing page with a few bits of useful information is enough to get started. This should include:

• Some information about your company and/or product.
• Phone and email contact details.
• An enquiry form.

Of course your landing page will need to be attractive, intuitive and informative, and it will need to be styled according to your brand. A simple site can be all these things, and sufficient for your immediate needs.

Later, when your company is more established, you will want to replace your landing page with a more sophisticated site. This may involve adding a menu system, and more pages of text, or it could be an evolution into what we might call Business Portals that include a wide variety of resources and tools to inform, guide and track customers.
