App store | Google play
Richgro came to us looking to promote their brand to consumers and to encourage in-store sales. The app is unique in that it serves two types of users very effectively – consumers, and in-store shop assistants at gardening or hardware stores such as Bunnings.
For the consumers, the app can help anyone from the serial plant-murderer to the gardening-guru. From ‘how to grow’ guides, to setting watering alerts, to diagnosing pesky problems such as weeds, ants and even possums (who knew there was a product for that)!
On the retail side, staff can easily find and recommend products for customers on the spot by simply tapping a few buttons. Further to that, they can use the handy calculator to tell them exactly how many bottles or bags they might need.
Richgro can manage all of their content seamlessly through the web portal we developed for them. They can upload stores, edit all app content and send marketing notifications to consumers to let them know of special promotions or relevant gardening tips.
A few of the team here now feel like total experts and could easily handle our own in a convo with Jamie Durie or Don Burke. For example, “Yeah I know! I hate when those lace bugs start laying their larvae on shrubs. I’ve been tackling them with Bug Killa – works a treat!”
