Workaway Storybook is a wonderful iPad app that allows kids to stay connected with their family members who work away. Whether on a construction site, an office overseas or waiting at an airport, the app allows parents and children to interact in an engaging way.
Entering the app, families will be able to add pictures to show kids where mum or dad goes to work, eats and sleeps for example. Filled with custom designed ‘stickers’, children can drag, drop and decorate photographs to their heart’s content.
CONNECTING FAMILIES THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
The app has been met with great approval from mining families, and you simply have to watch the creator’s son’s face light up when he sees his Dad in the pictures, “That’s Daddy!” It’s a heart-warming concept that really demonstrates the beauty of how technology can connect us in new ways.
